I don't care if I'm called a bandwagoner, but Wing Gundam Zero (EW).
Despite being exposed to enemy fire, it maintained its position and kept shooting with pinpoint accuracy. In the end, it couldn't even withstand the recoil of its own shot and gets englufed in flames...

試合開始→故障で動かず、相手ロボットにボコボコにされる→ 動く様子が見られなかったのでTKO負け→操縦士、諦めてリモコンを置く→ その瞬間、一歩踏み出して強烈なパンチを打つ(試合開始直後の命令を今頃受け付けた？)→ そのままバランスを崩し転倒、衝撃で崩壊 試合自体は惨敗だけど、散り方がカッコよすぎてちょっと泣きそうになった
The robot battle program they did towards the end of last year, Tetsujin 10-gou.
Match start → Can't move due to malfunction and gets beaten up by the opponent → Doesn't look like it's moving and loses by TKO → Pilot gives up and puts the remote control down → At that moment, it takes a step and makes a strong punch (late reception of orders during the match?) → loses balance, falls down and gets destroyed due to the impact.
It lost in the actual match, but I almost cried due to how beautiful its aftermath was.

A lot of people talk about the machines that just "whittle away covered in moss as the war has ended", but I do think that robots should be destroyed during the battle scenes, since they are robot animes after all.
