Things already felt so bad back in 2011 when they said that it would be set in Neo-Manhattan, not in Neo-Tokyo; that Kaneda and Tetsuo will be brothers and are running a bar, etc. I still can't keep my hopes up even if they choose to restart the project.
If they don't hurry, the times will catch up to them!

I also couldn't stand it and stopped watching the movie after 20 minutes.
It didn't feel like it would be a good movie.
All that's left in my mind is the scene of the bike running.

The techniques they used in expressing it were so polished, it was amazing. But Otomo has almost no stories that you can call good. And I think that fault has become more evident the moment his works were turned into anime.

For Otomo's works, Sayonara Nippon was the richest, and the best. And it was amazing how he wrote that while still in his mid-20s.
