They're a band who seem to be on the verge of success, but haven't quite made it there yet.
They aren't bad.
They also have that appeal that draws people towards them.
But they still can't catch a break.

ONE OK ROCK's the band of Shinichi Mori's son, right?
This band probably lacks that awesomeness and charisma that OOR possesses.

I think this is just popular among a very small part of the Gintama fujoshis.

Gintama's really amazing, huh. The band DOES had a Gintama song in the Top 10, but their other songs are all flops.
I thought they were pretty good as they did sound a bit like The Yellow Monkey.

タイップしてるアニメが厨房向けなのか、いい年こいたオッサン向けなのかはよく分からんが

I think that the youngsters these days could use this band as an entry point towards rock music.

They seem to have the potential to become popular, but they somehow seem shady and that's why their popularity hasn't exploded. Such a waste.

NHKの音楽番組はコロコロ時間帯を変えるからダメになった

Music Station is a program for the Johnny's talents to perform on.
With this, they can get a core group of viewers.
Everyone knows that Music Station is on every Friday night at 8 pm.
NHK's music programs change schedule a lot which just makes them no good.
